Germany, HJ. A 1939 National Trade Competition Victor’s Badge, Bronze Grade, by Hermann Aurich Hold with a red wool centrepiece(Ehrenzeichen Kreissieger im Reichsberufswettkampf 1939). Constructed of bronze with multi coloured enamels, the obverse consisting of a circular laurel leaf wreath surrounding a white enameled disc, bearing a raised German national eagle clutching a cogwheel defaced by an enameled HJ insignia, circumscribed by an inscription of KREISSIEGER 1939 (DISTRICT CHAMPION 1939), the reverse with a barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a round wire catch,
