In silvered and gilt metal with red enamels, number impressed "76" on the reverse, measuring 36 mm in diameter, intact enamels, contact marks evident on the reverse, original ribbon with pinback, sticker residue evident on the frame of the pinback, better than very fine. Footnote: The Air Force Vermilion Bow Medal was instituted on June 14, 1945 and awarded for 180 flight hours or 60 missions.
