Hawkes was subsequently sent down the line to No
inscribed "NSKOV" (National Sozialistische Kriegsopferversorung) in an arch above "Gau München-Oberbayern" (Munich-Upper Bavaria District)
Also included in his log book is a copy of his certificate confirming his genealogy and German blood through all grandparents
