A North West Canada Medal with Saskatchewan Clasp Auction Ahlert was transferred to theIn silver, full size, unnamed, original ribbon with SASKATCHEWAN clasp, very minor wear, lovely patina, in extremely fine condition. Footnote: The medal was authorised by the Canadian Government on 18th September 1885 and awarded to all those serving west of Thunder Bay, who took part in the suppression of Riel's Rebellion of 1885. A total of 5,650 were issued. Of these, 1,753 soldiers were eligible for the Saskatchewan clasp for fighting at Fish
