The program is organized chronologically, beginning with contemporary composers and progressing back to the roots of this time honored music. The Childrens and Youth Choir Sophia was founded as a church choir by its current director, Ms. Olga Roussakova. More than 100 children between the ages of 6 and 18 now participate in the choirs
